Under the Maple tree

Should I come hither

Or would I wither?

Would you give me shade

Or will you make my glory fade?

I come to sit on your pastures

And enjoy your treasures

You have wooed me 

With promises of honey

Yet I do not want to end up 

Left here, lonely

I am a king with my kingdom

Do not snare my freedom

I know there is no middle way

It should happen one day

For a better life

You sure should take away 

All this strife

Into the cold I come

Do not make me numb

I come to seek refuge

 Under your branches

For I have gambled 

With all my chances

Under the Maple tree

Is where I want to be free

Exorcism of my inner phantoms

Why do u always 

Keep me awake

Rearing your ugly head, 

You fake

Leave me alone,

 I crave peace

Leave and

I will be at ease

From the echelons, 

You mock me

But from the ashes, 

I will be

My past 

Daunts

The future 

Daunts

I will face you 

Like a man

With all my might,

I know I can

You are just

 A phantom

That, I can easily 

Fathom

And so

Amidst the din

I will surely win

Fissures In My Mind

Gyres and  labyrinths

 In my mind

Whither shall I find

Solitude 

And solace

A real place

I screamed

In silence

All I asked for 

Was guidance

Hope 

It will not be late

When He calls, 

This Fate
